Rules
Thank you for checking out WOSIB Lives. As with all groups, there are rules that have to be followed. Please read the following rules and if you find that you are interested in joining us, click the “Join Us” button on the bottom of the page.
  • All members MUST be of the female sex and must be at least 18 years old.
  • All members MUST have an active e-mail address.
  • All women are accepted regardless of religion, sexual preference, ethnicity, etc.
  • On any of the Yahoo Groups, topics may not be demeaning to ANY group (ethnicity, religion, politics, sexual orientation, etc).
  • Also regarding the Yahoo Groups, polite chatter is welcome, please refrain from curse words and mind your manners.
  • On any WOSIB Lives Yahoogroup, absolutely no solicitation for money or donations of any type. You may have some type of ad in your signature line, but we do not allow e-mails that ask for money or donations of any type in the body of the e-mail.
  • If you have a website, you MUST join the webring. If you join as an EMAIL member, and later acquire a site, you must apply for webring membership and submit your site for membership in the WOSIB Lives webring.
  • Once accepted you will be required to join an extremely low-volume Announcement Yahoo Group. This normally generates 3 to 5 e-mails per month as well as the yahoogroup for chatting and one garden yahoogroup.
  • Once accepted, you will be required to participate in one garden. You may choose more than one garden, but you must participate in at *least* one garden.
  • Once accepted, you need to register for our website. This will enable you to chat in the forums (if you choose). Using the forums on the website is not a requirement.
Webring Rules
Please read the following guidelines to make sure your site qualifies for submission into the WOSIB Lives webring.

If you have any questions concerning these guidelines, feel free to write the the Webring Management
  • No hatred of any kind.
  • No sexually explicit images, stories or poetry. (Any questionable “art” will be reviewed by the WOSIB Lives Webring Management and discussed for entry)
  • We will not accept sites that contain blatant copyright violations or warez,
    which are illegal places to obtain software you would normally pay for.
  • Excessive swearing will not be tolerated.
  • Sites featuring uses of illegal substances will not be permitted.
  • No sites featuring links to porno sites will be permitted.
  • We do not accept sites that are created solely for business purposes. Your site must have some personal content and not just be a “sales” site.
  • Sites that are members only, must be joined or must be logged into to view, will not be accepted.
  • We do not accept web sites dealing with BD/SM. Although we do feel every
    woman has the right to choose her own lifestyle, we can not and will not
    condone nor advocate domination/submission of women nor of any human being.
  • You must submit the exact URL/web address that you place the webring fragment on as your URL. If the ring is placed on a page other than your main page, we ask that you have a clear link to your webrings page on your main page or that you use one of the “To My WOSIB Ring&rdquo graphics below. These graphics are optional if you have a clear text link or webrings graphic of your own choice. You will see more choices of this graphic as you proceed through to the webring application.
    • (Please note: Sites have two weeks to add their webring fragments.
      After two weeks your site will be automatically removed from the queue).
  • If for any reason, you should decide to leave our group, it is your personal responsibility to remove yourself from the webring and to inform us you are resigning. Removing the ring from your website does not remove you from the ring and any time we send out e-mail to the ring, you will receive the e-mail if you haven't removed yourself. If you do not know how to remove yourself or edit your information, please contact Jill.
  • All webring members must display a WOSIB Lives Approved graphic on their main page or a WOSIB Lives Dedication page. There are several styles and sizes of graphics, so you can choose one to match your website. Examples are below, although there are several other styles and colors. Only after this graphic and your webring are in place, will you be added to membership. Instructions for these graphics also follow on the continuing pages.
